Anna Gawłowska , born. 09.02.1978 in Kowary, Poland.
Artist, glassmaker, designer, social activist and a performer. Engaged especially in pro-social and integration activities in Nadodrze district, being a part of Wrocław city. Graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Glass Design faculty in 2008 . Leader of the «Glass Studio» and «Glass Greengroceries». Organiser of multiple exhibitions and art shows in Poland, and abroad.
Glass is a special material which gives me unlimited possibilities. It is incredibly vivid, but only in this one moment, when is hot. This point is the most important in the whole creative process. I want let it free, and not to give too much control. I’m studying and observing the opportunities which are offered to me, and this dependence. I’m drawing inspiration from nature, growth and maturation of vegetables, travel for natural sunlight, the highest source of energy on Earth.

Este proyecto esta dedicado a mi memoria sobre mi infancia. Además, esta dedicado al Mundo y a nosotros.

¿Qué se experimenta al trabajar con el vidrio?
.
El vidrio es un material increíble y difícil de controlar, su manipulación debe hacerse entre dos personas, medir el tiempo y la temperatura. Otras cosas no existen en este momento.
Durante el proceso de creación te dejas llevar, observando la fibra del vidrio, creado la composición de la obra.

¿Qué piezas crees que reciben mayor admiración?
.
Yo deseo que mi Jardín de Cristal sea bien recibido, Mi obra es una reclamación al mundo, es un voz que quiere decir que somos tan frágiles y sensibles… como la naturaleza. Como las plantas y vegetales, crecemos y necesitamos lo mismo para vivir… luz y amor. TENEMOS QUE RESPETAR MÁS LA VIDA EN TODOS LOS ASPECTOS.

¿Qué representa para ti formar parte de Vidmar Festival?
.
Formar parte de Festival es un momento muy importante para mi. Es mi primera exposición efímera y mi primer proyecto en España. Deseo cooperar y desarrollar mi proyecto.
